MAMMA MIA, here we go again!
The Eurovision song contest is underway again and this time the UK is the host country with Liverpool hosting.
Casting our minds back to previous years of the competition, we started thinking about our favourite moments. From Celine Dion winning in 1988 to Conchita Wurst in 2014, there’s been some incredible performances. As well as some not so incredible, not mentioning any names…Jemini.
So, here are three of our favourites:
3. Dustin the Turkey performing Ireland Douze Point for Ireland in 2008. A singing Turkey, how could we not?
2. Sam Ryder bringing back a second placed finish in 2022 with his song Spaceman. Our first top 3 finish since Jessica Garlick all the way back in 2002!
1. Abba performing Waterloo in 1974. Whatever happened to those four?
